The University of Maiduguri Veterinary Teaching Hospital
The University of Maiduguri Veterinary Teaching Hospital (UNIMAID VTH) is a center of excellence for animal healthcare, clinical training, and veterinary research in Nigeria.
Established under the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, the hospital provides comprehensive diagnostic, surgical, and preventive services for both small and large animals, while serving as the primary clinical training facility for Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) students.
UNIMAID VTH combines professional expertise, modern facilities, and community outreach to promote animal welfare, enhance food security, and protect public health through the “One Health” approach.
